For the series 'You Don’t Die Among Friends', director Felix Stienz casts Iris Berben, Adele Neuhauser, Heiner Lauterbach, Michael Wittenborn, and Walter Sittler as best friends. To ensure Hermann can win the Nobel Prize, his four best friends keep his death a secret for five days. It becomes a test of their friendship and a reckoning with their own lives. Based on the books by Claudius Pläging, the four-part miniseries is being produced entirely in NRW.
