The series was produced as part of a fiction project in collaboration with TVNow, Vox, and RTL, and will initially be available exclusively on TVNow. However, a television broadcast is also planned.

The miniseries will have a total of four episodes, each 45 minutes long. The episode titles have not yet been announced. The screenplay was written by Claudius Pläging ('Der Vorname', ‘Pastewka’). Felix Stienz ('Merz gegen Merz', 'Frau Jordan stellt gleich', 'Kroymann') directed the series.
